Strategic Policy Planning

This training will begin by exploring the relationship between management skills and strategy. Participants will work within the framework of leadership skills and better understand the role of strategy and strategic thinking. After that, various strategic planning tools such as SWOT, stakeholder analysis, planning of activities and planning of scenarios in the policy planning cycle will be considered. Emphasis will be placed on understanding better scenario planning as a tool for strategic thinking on complex policy issues. In the last part of the training participants will work in small groups on a case study.
