Indicators of Good Local Governance in BiH

The College of William and Mary, Virginia, USA and Analitika – Center for Social Research commenced in September 2011 the research project “Indicators of Good Local Governance in Bosnia and Herzegovina.”

The project’s aim is to identify factors that help explain the varying progress in improved local government performance in BiH, which is in line with the principles of good governance as recognized in international literature and in practice.

Analitika’s researchers will work together with Professor Paula Pickering, PhD, from the College of William and Mary, to develop a methodological and analytical framework – indicators of good local governance - and to conduct research in a select number of municipalities in BiH. The research results will be published mid-2012.
