Archiving data collected in RRPP (Regional Research Promotion Programme) projects
Data collected through research in the social sciences have a great value for primary, as well as for secondary analyses. However, they remain mainly in the possession of researchers or their institutions and unavailable to other researchers, despite their high potential for addressing other important research questions.
The aim of the research is to ensure the long-term preservation of and access to data produced within the RRPP from 2008 to 2016. The data will be safeguarded, discoverable, and usable by the larger scientific community for many years to come.
All the data will be initially archived in the FORS base of Swiss Center of Expertise in the Social Sciences, University of Lausanne, and at the end of the collection will be permanently archived in the SEEDS base (South Eastern European Data Services).
Center for Social Research Analitika, in partnership with Swiss Center of Expertise in the Social Sciences, University of Lausanne, FORS is implementing the project in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project is funded by Regional Research Promotion Program (RRPP) Western Balkans.
