Center for Social Research Analitika is organizing workshop “Financial investigations and confiscation of illegally acquired property in the context of the processing economic crime and corruption”, which will be held on November 17 2018, from 09:45 to 15:30 at the Hotel Swissotel Sarajevo (Vrbanja 1, 71000 Sarajevo).
The main objective of this workshop is to bring participants closer to the role and importance of financial investigations and confiscation of illegally acquired property in the processing of economic crimes and corruption offenses, in order to improve the understanding of procedures for criminal offenses in which such investigations and the question of relations with the unlawfully acquired property have a special meaning. Familiarization with the key aspects of these investigations will improve individual capacities for competent monitoring and reporting on the processing of corruptive criminal offenses and acts of economic crime.
Target group: journalists, representatives of non-governmental and international organizations, students.

This workshop is organized within the project „Integrity through Justice: independent civil society monitoring and assessment of judicial response to corruption“, which is implemented by Center for Social Research Analitika in partnership with Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN) and funded by the European Union and Open Society Fund Bosnia and Herzegovina.
