Regulatory impact assessments are crucial tool for systematic analysis of the potential positive or negative effects of a policy proposal. This particularly relates to fiscal, environmental, social, human rights and other potential implications of a proposed policy. This module will provide participants with a systematic overview of available tools and approaches for conducting regulatory impact assessments and integrating it into daily work of civil servants engaged in policy development.

This training is part of the project “Policies through Knowledge: Improving Policy-making Capacities and Processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina” which is implemented by the Center for Social Research Analitika and the Netherlands Institute of International Relations Clingendael, in partnership with the Civil Service Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
