The 2016 Amendments to the Law on the Prohibition of Discrimination have brought a significantly improved legal framework in BiH in this field, aligning it further with the relevant EU directives, and removing numerous shortcomings identified in the previous version of the Law. This Memorandum, first, briefly presents the changes and improvements. Second, it points out some of the key areas and issues that the amendments do not tackle and which will form the framework for the future reform of the comprehensive anti-discrimination legislation in BiH.
