Policy Dialogue between NGOs and Government Institutions
Facilitating policy dialogue between civil society organisations (CSOs) and public institutions is an important aspect of public administration reform and of various projects and programs aimed at supporting CSOs in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Significant efforts have been undertaken to facilitate such a policy dialogue in recent years, through various networks, ad-hoc working groups, and projects specifically aimed at developing policy capacities through cooperation between CSOs and public institutions.
The purpose of this project is to assess the impact of such efforts and activities in recent years that attempt to establish a meaningful effective policy dialogue in BiH. The project investigates the impact of policy dialogue activities on policy-making capacities of key stakeholders, the impact on concrete policies, as well as a broader impact on policy-making context in the country. The overall purpose is to describe advantages and disadvantages of a policy dialogue efforts and different consequences such activities have for different stakeholders.
This is a part of Capacity Building of Government Institutions (CBGI) project, implemented by Kronauer Consulting from Sarajevo and EPTISA from Spain.
