The report offers a comprehensive review of discrimination-specific procedural law institutes which were introduced by the Law on the Prohibition of Discrimination in BiH. The legal framework and practice in Bosnia and Herzegovina in this field are considered from the perspective of the relevant European Union standards, standards established by the European Court for Human Rights and of best practice from other countries. The report identifies and discusses key problems in the realm of judicial protection from discrimination and offers substantiated recommendations for improvement of the legal framework practice in this field.

The analysis is prepared as part of the project “A Comprehensive Overview of the Anti-Discrimination Framework and Practice in BiH in Comparative Perspective,” implemented by Analitika. This project represents the policy segment of the “Anti-Discrimination Program,” coordinated and funded by the Open Society Fund Bosnia and Herzegovina.
