Vesna Pirija

Bio

Vesna Pirija was born 22.4.1985 in Sarajevo. She graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Sarajevo in 2008. Postgraduate master studies ended in 2013 at the Center for Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Studies, University of Sarajevo, Department of European Studies, and gained the academic title of Master of European Studies.Final thesis defended on the theme "The role of the Court of Justice of the European Union in the creation of EU law". In 2014 acquired the Cambridge International Diploma in Business. Currently, the doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Law, University of Mostar, the international direction. She works in the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Additional professional training attended in the area of ​​gender equality, combating discrimination, administration of justice, human resource management and alternative ways solve resolution (ARS).  She is the author of the research papers on the topic of discrimination to education, gender equality, the judicial system of BiH and the EU and the ARS.
